Don’t Become “Jail Bait”

in the world that we live in, when one thinks of the term “Jail Bait” the connotation is one having a romantic or sexual encounter with someone who is not an adult.  In the context here, the term takes on a spiritual meaning.

How can this be you may ask?  What I am speaking of is that we as believers in general, but particularly those in America need to be wary of Satan’s devices (see II Corinthians 2:11).  In this day and hour Satan is using deception and our own Biblical ignorance against us.  We have seen this in the Jonestown, Guyana mass suicide in 1978 where 900 people drank “Kool-Aid” laced with cyanide.  Also the Heaven’s Gate tragedy in March 1997 where 38 people ingested cyanide and arsenic so that they can leave their bodies to board a spacecraft that was at the end of the Hale-Bopp comet.  Now we have 13 people from El Salvador, some as young a 12 years old leaving their personal possessions behind and they disappeared to wait on the “Rapture”.

While I believe the Rapture is a real and eminent event,  it is not up to me to be in remote area looking for God.  Quite the opposite.  God will find us doing our normal everyday routines and HE will take us.  Scripture says:

“Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left” (see Matthew 24:40-41).

These were not the words of some theologian or commentator,  these are the words of Jesus Himself.  He also went on to say:

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come (see Matthew 24:42).

What is more important than the coming of the Lord is that we do not become deceived before that time.  We as believers must know our Bible and the God who authored it.  We can no longer in this time to rely on what “preachers” say about God.  We must hear God for ourselves.  Let the one who preaches the Word confirm in public what we heard God in private.  We must not be caught off guard in this day and hour about anything – whether it is in the heavens or especially here on the Earth.

I am fully aware that Heaven is my home.  However, if you are reading this, please understand you’re not “home” yet either.  You may be able to quote Ephesians 6:12, but when was the last time a demon curbed your ability to speak through legislation?  Only people can do that.  They only can do that if they’re elected.  They are not elected by God’s will, but by your choice.

It has been said and I agree that things happen first in the spiritual then in the natural.  When those that in charge of disseminating spiritual truth, lie to you and tell you: ”Not to worry.  It doesn’t matter what happens in our country politically, Jesus is enough”. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!!  They are setting you up to be in a spiritual jail.  Once you are in spiritual jail, the next logical step is natural jail, because your beliefs will be outlawed.   At that point you will have one of two options:  Renounce Christ or die.
